What does a polysomnography evaluates ?

Medical expertise

In order to optimize the identification and treatment
of sleep disorders, CEREVES centers offer, by appointment:

MEDICAL SERVICES
Initial consultation

For patients requiring the medical advice of a sleep professional, in order to identify the need or not for a thorough sleep exploration, and to guide the patient's overall management.

Follow-up consultations

For patients who performed a sleep exploration in a CEREVES center, and who need to follow the progress of their disorders or treatments.

Sleep explorations

For patients referred by an external sleep professional or member of a CEREVES center.

Polysomnographies (PSG)

PSG evaluates the brain, heart, muscle, eye, and respiratory activity of patients. It is carried out on 1 or 2 nights. Depending on the results, continuous positive airway pressure equipment (CPAP) may be prescribed.

Questionnaires

Questionnaires can be administered before the first
night, or following the first and second nights of exploration.
They aim to better understand the patient's sleep habits.
